The Skate Studio was created to encourage and promote rollerskating within the local community and beyond. Our focus is to teach skating fundamentals, which will provide confidence and key skills that are transferable in all disciplines of skating.

On Monday 8th February 2021, we opened our doors for our first lesson, it was a great turnout, and from there it has been onwards and upwards!

 

Over the years, we have expanded to include Zoom, kids, specialised  and private classes, including Artistic skating.  We have also created The Skate Studio artistic club, and have had some of our skaters compete!

 

Our venues now include the addition of the Sunshine skate centre, Penrose Promenade Community Centre (Tarneit) and Arndell Park Community Centre (Truganina)

Our classes are open to skaters of all ages and abilities and we have welcomed skaters from 4years old, to those in their 60s!

We pride ourselves on providing a learning environment which is supportive, informative and inclusive. This includes skaters who may require additional assistance, such as those on the autism spectrum, inc non verbal, as well as skaters with limited vision and hearing,.
